New Ways to Expand Your Market Share with Prospecting

No matter how successful you are as a business owner, you’re always going to face an urgent need to uncover new opportunities. Passive “farming” sales strategies are not as viable as they used to be; instead, you must focus on prospecting—but with a twist. Here are five fresh strategies you can put into action today to attack new markets and skyrocket your revenue.
Prospects and Customers 1. Get Personal.
Thanks to today’s highly social marketing methods, your business can foster and develop many one-to-one client  relationships. It’s imperative that you engage in these customer conversations—because one long-held principle is still true: On average, less than 25 percent of leads are never contacted. You should be snapping up the prospects being overlooked by your competitors

MASTER YOUR EMOTIONAL HEALTH AND MASTER YOUR LIFE

Emotional mastery is the key to living a life that you direct. The capacity to have absolute direct power over what you feel in every single moment—no matter what happens around you—is one of the most important skill sets you can have.
There are three forces in the world that determine what you feel. These forces are called the Triad. Together, these three patterns create any—and every—emotional state.
Whatever you feel, you’re not feeling it because you have to feel it. You’re feeling it because you’ve chosen from the Triad. In order to master your emotions and consciously choose the emotions you want to live in, you need to understand these three forces and how to use them to your advantage.

#1: Physiology

Emotion is created by motion. Whatever you’re feeling right now is directly related to how you’re using your body. If you slump your shoulders and lean your head forward, you’ll move toward a state of depression. However, the next time you find yourself in a negative state, stand up

Reasons Why Discrimination Against 2.2 & 3rd Class Graduates Should Stop

Interesting piece i saw on nairaland.com thought i should share.

This is based on personal opinion only. In the course of my young & growing career, I have interacted with many graduates and employees. I have met extremely good, hardworking and smart persons who graduated with 2.2 or 3rd class. However, many are not even given the chance to showcase their ability as they are often not considered in many recruitment opportunities.
However I must say, I will never discriminate against anyone on the basis of graduating with a 2.2 if or when I own my company. Here are the reasons why 2.2 (and lower grade) grads can perform equally or even better than others with higher grade:

1. Many are actually very smart. Some are even smarter than some 2.1 grads out there. Not all that finished with a 2.2 or 3rd class did so because they weren't academically sound enough. Financial pressures, playfulness, sickness, victimization, missing exam sheets, family issues, disillusion, influence of bad friends, etc can cause students not to reach their full academic potential. A friend of mine finished with a 2.2 largely due to financial stress while in school. Today, he is a successful network engineer in one of the telecom coys. Let me even take it closer. A relative of mine finished with a 3rd class in civil engineering due to victimization. Today, he is a COREN registered engineer with many years of engineering experience to his name. He now has a registered consulting firm. I can go on and on to reel out successful 2.2 and 3rd class graduates but I will stop here. It’s gravely erroneous to assume that all 2.2 or even 3rd class grads aren’t as smart as others.

Okay, there is nothing wrong in just saying, I'm not interested, I have a boyfriend already, i'm born again . . .etc . . must you insult his intelligence by implying that he does not know how to choose people he woos? The worst part is, most girls even say this to guys they like! Why.When you say this to a guy, he and his friends will make fun of you for hours . . .
Just stop as you are reading this.
