Another Explosion in Kano

A bomb exploded near a drinking parlour in Badawa Quarters in the Nigerian city of Kano Sunday, the same city where a suicide bomber blew up the offices of Airtel and another suicide bomber failed in his own bid to attack the MTN office Saturday.

An eye witness told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano that the bomb was planted near the local drinking parlour.

The JTF spokesman, Captain. Ikedichi Iweha, confirmed the incident, but however, said nobody was injured.

He said it was a small can of Improvised Explosive Devise (IED), which was planted near a local drinking parlour in Badawa that exploded around 7:20 pm.

“It was a small IED that was planted at the local drinking parlour and it did not kill or injure anybody,’’ he said.
